Our Story

Blu Crescent Engraving  didn’t start as a business—it is a reflection of who we are.

Growing up, we always collaborated on creative-based  business ventures. We are a built-in team, and this is only the beginning...

Today, we bring that same collaborative energy and passion to life by blending our experience in art and design. Using our original, hand-drawn artwork, inspired by nature, diverse cultures, and timeless styles, we create high-quality, visually striking pieces designed to bring joy to your everyday life.

Whether you are treating yourself or gifting a loved one, every piece tells a story. We believe that art is everywhere—you just have to look for it.

We are so thrilled you have discovered  ours.

Welcome to the beauty of Blu Crescent Engraving.

Original Designs from the Heart

Our collections and designs are inspired by the moments that make life feel special: gathering around the table, giving a thoughtful gift, celebrating a milestone, decorating a space you love, or simply making an ordinary day feel more personal.

As sisters and business partners, we pour care into every step of the process. Our goal is to create elevated, functional pieces that feel timeless while still fitting naturally into modern life.

From Hand-Drawn Sketches to Engraved Wood

The Blu Crescent Engraving design process carries each idea from an original sketch to a finished engraving. We gather inspiration from many places; from nature, cultures, different art styles, and the world around us. Then we refine each concept into an engraving-ready design, prepare the selected wood piece, and engrave the finished design onto the surface.

Drawing each design ourselves gives every collection a clear connection to our interests and creative work. Botanical forms, European maps, Italian Renaissance details, and other motifs begin with our own sketches. We position the engraved lines according to the board's grain, shape, and use.

High Quality Wood

Blu Crescent Engraving pairs original artwork with Tunisian olive wood and acacia wood. Our olive wood comes from Tunisia and displays natural differences in grain, color, width, and shape. We also choose acacia wood for selected designs and product formats.

Natural variation changes how each finished piece looks. We account for the wood's shape and grain when placing the design, then engrave boards, serving pieces, trivets, coasters, and gifts from our Southern California business.
